Entrance exam or in-person interview?
Like your entire experience at Mount Saint Charles, this is all about you. We understand and celebrate that every student who becomes a Mountie has their own strengths and we want to encourage that from the beginning. That’s why we give you a choice. You can either take entrance exam or meet with us for an in-person interview.
The entrance exam is the traditional route. This, along with academic records and your application, can give us a good idea of how you will fit with the Mount community.
But scores sometimes don’t tell the whole story. The interview option gives us a good look at who you are as a person, it lets you ask questions of us, and it can, in many cases, give us a more holistic look at who you are.
Entrance Exams
Mount Saint Charles Academy will be offering the middle school and high school entrance exams in person this year. Students may also submit test results of the ISEE, SSAT, or Toefl in lieu of taking the entrance exam at Mount Saint Charles. It is the parents’ responsibility to have a copy of the exam scores sent to GasbarroS@mtstcharles.org if taking an entrance exam at a location other than Mount Saint Charles.
Middle school and high school students entrance exams will be offered at Mount on:
- Saturday, December 3, 2022
- Saturday, December 10, 2022
Students should arrive at 8:15 AM and will be brought to classrooms at 8:30 AM. Because this is a timed test, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. Middle school applicants will be done at approximately 11:00 AM and high school applicants will be done at approximately 12:00 PM.
