Mount Saint Charles Summer Program International
Take Your Summer Break in Beautiful, Historic Rhode Island
Learn, explore and relax this summer amid the historic cities, beautiful beaches, scenic countryside and world-class universities of New England.
Mount Saint Charles Summer Academy International in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, is a 10-week residential program for students aged 14-19. Spend June 20 to August 23 at Mount continuing your studies, exploring new interests, and making new friends in a welcoming community.
The Summer International Program includes academic, arts, athletic, and recreational activities. Students are housed in a secure residential facility with 24-hour, live-in supervision. Meals, laundry, housekeeping, activities, transportation to programs and events, and access to Mount facilities are included.

Programs & Activities
Perform on stage. Learn tennis or ice skating. Prepare for the SATs. Sharpen your English skills. Tour a colonial-era city. It’s all at Mount Saint Charles this summer, along with much more.
Choose the high school or college programs. The high school program includes enrollment in the Mount Saint Charles Summer Fine Arts Academy, and three academic enrichment / college prep classes. The college program offers more free time and flexibility. Both programs include optional selections such as golf and tennis lessons. Learn more here.
The residence hall is supervised by live-in prefects and medical personnel will be on site daily. The program staff is comprised of certified teachers and coaches, with a student-staff ratio of approximately 3:1. Staff will be assigned to groups of students to provide personal support.
The Mount Saint Charles Academy campus is set in a quiet residential neighborhood of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The campus is 30 minutes from Providence, an hour from the beaches and historic sites of Newport and Narragansett, and an hour from Boston.
Students are housed in Brother Josephus Hall, our newly constructed, air conditioned residential facility. The two-story building has common rooms on each floor, a workout room, and direct access to the main building. The cafeteria, gymnasium, arts and music studios, theater and computer lab are all located in the main building.

Pre-registration for Mount’s Summer International program is open now through April 15, and a 25% deposit is due on May 15. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-service basis.
