Course Description

This laboratory-oriented course is an interactive, hands-on class designed for students to engage in scientific inquiry. Through research, discussions, labs, and collaborative exploration, students will be immersed in the scientific process. Students will research and design a controlled experiment, test their hypotheses, and communicate their results via a formal lab report and an oral presentation. Students participating in this course may be chosen to compete in the statewide science fair held each March.
