Course Description

The Junior/Senior level program enables the student to build upon their understanding of the health and skill related components involved in the planning and implementation of a personal fitness program. The student will develop the ability to design and assess personal fitness goals, understand the relationship among physical activities, stress, and other health problems associated with inadequate fitness levels. Students will develop an understanding of training principles related to exercise, apply safety practices associated with physical fitness, and exhibit a positive attitude toward lifelong physical activity and wellness.
