Course Description

This one-semester course provides an introduction to the include plant taxonomy, plant anatomy and physiology, environmental requirements, experimentation with different types of growth media, plant nutrients, and fertilizers, integrated pest management, greenhouse crops and greenhouse climate, and hydroponics, plus an independent project.
