Course Description
The goal of this lab-oriented course is to provide students with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world and to identify and analyze environmental problems, both natural and man-made. With an emphasis on sustainability, students will evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems and examine solutions for resolving and/or preventing them. Students are required to complete a year-long independent project and are required to take the Advanced Placement exam in May.
