Course Description 

This laboratory-oriented course is an introduction to the study of life. Through lectures, discussions, labs, independent and cooperative group work, students study general concepts of molecular and cellular structure, function, and division, heredity, life processes, taxonomic relationships, plant life, and human body systems. A mandatory dissection will conclude our study of biology.
