Course Description

This full-year class is designed for students who would like to further develop their observational drawing skills. Lessons in figure drawing, portraits, and composition will be presented in this course. Students learn to evaluate and critique their own artwork and the works of others. Lessons in art appreciation and art history are part of this comprehensive program, and projects completed in this class are appropriate for inclusion in a college portfolio.
