Course Description
A systematic approach is used in this course to introduce students to the study of the structure and function of the human body. Particular attention is given to the anatomical and physiological functions of organ systems and coordination in the entire organism. Laboratory dissections in most areas of study are an integral component in this course. This course includes clinical applications, and is designed to prepare students for further in-depth study in the medical, technical, or scientific fields. Emphasis is placed on memorization and application skills, and the course requires independent reading and research.
