There are a number of ways to give back to the school as an Alumni volunteer.
It may be as simple as attending a reunion, planning a sporting event (such as soccer, hockey, or basketball), volunteering as a Career Exploration Speaker, or just returning to campus for a game or event. By choosing to participate, you will be connected to the Mount alumni network.
If you want to volunteer, please review the activities below that may be of interest to you. Please understand that providing this information in no way obligates you. In the future, according to your wishes and availability, you’ll be contacted to pursue this involvement further.
To get involved, please contact Gail Bryon in the Alumni Offfice: 401-769-0310 ext. 115 or email email@example.com
The 50th anniversary class and their guests are invited back for three days of activities during Mount’s commencement weekend in June. Dinner and a tour at the Woonsocket Museum of Work and Culture are usually planned on Friday evening. Saturday afternoon activities might include a tour of Woonsocket landmarks; The Stadium Theatre and the Saint Ann Art and Cultural Center. Saturday evening plans will include a tour and dinner at Mount. On Sunday, we will celebrate mass, followed by brunch then proceed to the Commencement where 50th grads will receive Gold Diplomas.
First organized in 1988, our annual tournament, which is usually held in August, attracts more than 100 golfers each year. If you are interested in playing or sponsoring a hole please contact the Alumni Office.
Soccer, hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball and tennis are just some of the sports that have had alumni games. If you’re interested in playing or organizing one, contact the Alumni Office.
Career Awareness is a program sponsored jointly by the Guidance Department and the Alumni Office. The goal is to present 9th and 10th graders information about various professions from those who practice it. Students choose several areas of interest and are then matched with the appropriate professionals for each Career Exploration session. If interested in participating, please contact either the Alumni Office or the Guidance Department.
The Holiday Face-Off is a Christmas Hockey Tournament sponsored by Mount along with our hockey parents. It began in 1996 and features many of the top high school boys teams in the Northeast. For more information regarding sponsorship, participation, or results, please contact the Alumni Office.
Once a year we plan a day to celebrate all those who have graduated 50 or more years ago from Mount. The day includes mass, dinner and a reception with our President and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.
In the tradition of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, we are a private, Catholic, college preparatory, 6th -12th grade academy committed to academic excellence, moral values, and well-rounded students. Our commitment to caring means that each and every student is known, valued, and treasured.
