    About Tennis on the Mount Competitive Tennis Camp

    Led by Mount Saint Charles’ head boys’ and girls’Hall of Fame tennis coach Richard Lawrence, the Tennis on the Mount Competitive Tennis Camp offers a high intensity program designed for junior tennis players with the aim of immersing players in a competitive tennis environment. The goal of the camp is to continue each player’s development while exposing each player to a competitive high school environment. While technique will be evaluated and addressed, the aim of the camp is to focus on how to play. All technique and drill work take place in a tactical framework. A typical two-hour session will consist of one hour of competitive drills followed by an hour of competition.

    Camp Information
    • Camp is held at the Mount Saint Charles Tennis Facility
    • Campers should bring their own water bottles
    • Space is limited
    Insurance & First Aid:
    • Proof of health insurance is necessary in order to attend camp. Health insurance information will be requested at a later date. The camp has trained personnel to handle first aid needs at the scene.
    • Every effort is made to protect the health and safety of campers through supervision, training of staff, and inspection of equipment; however, the camp assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness.
    Tuition:
    • $150 per week per camper
    • Early bird discount: $100 per week per camper if paid in full by June 1
    • Sibling Discount: Pay in full for one camper, sibling comes at no cost.

    About High School/Middle School Preparation Camp

    This Tennis School offers five days of instruction on all phases of the game, including
    match tactics and competitive play for girls and boys 10-18 who are interested in developing
    their tennis skills in advance of their high school and middle school tennis seasons. A
    typical day begins with 90 minutes of instruction and drills, followed by 60 minutes of competition. Players will be divided into three divisions - according to ability. The camp is
    open to players of all abilities. Tennis instruction will be offered by a knowledgeable
    and energetic coaching staff under the leadership of Hall of Fame tennis coach Richard Lawrence.

  • The Hoops Camp 2019

    July 29th –August 2nd
    Camp is from 9-2pm each day
     
    Join us for our 17th year of The Hoops Camp @ Mount St. Charles!
     
    We welcome boys and girls ages 9-15. Campers are assigned to groups based on age, ability, and gender. Camp focus is on fundamental skill development and having fun. Camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:00pm. The Mount Saint Charles facility is open at 8:00am for early arrivals and closes at 3:00pm for late pickups.
     

    Typical Camp Day
    • 9:00 a.m.- Attendance and Camp Meeting
    • 9:15 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.- Skills Stations + Games
    • 12:00 p.m.-Lunch
    • 12:30 p.m.-Skills Stations
    • 1:15 p.m.- Games
    • 2:00 p.m.- Camp Day Ends 

    Camp Information
    • Camp is held in the Mount Saint Charles Sports Complex
    • Campers can bring their own lunches or can opt for the lunch plan. Snack bar is available for cold drinks and snacks.

    Tuition:
    • $170.00 per week per camper includes tuition only
    • $200.00 per week per camper for tuition and lunch
    • Limited financial assistance may be available
    • A 50 % deposit for each week attended is due upon submission of the registration
    • Tuition balance is due upon the start of each camp week

  • Volleyball

    Our objective is to improve and develop the skills of each camper with a program geared toward teaching volleyball fundamentals.
     
    To ensure the best experience space is limited to 40 campers per session.
    All-Star Volleyball Academy offers local athletes the opportunity to refine critical skills in preparation for the upcoming volleyball season. This camp focuses on individual skills and team strategies.

    Skills covered range from basic passing and hitting techniques to advanced attacking and defensive schemes, depending on skill level and age.

    We will emphasize technical development and motivational skills.

    Athletes will receive high-level instruction from local high school and college coaches and regional players.
