Visit Mount Saint Charles Academy, and you’ll see first-hand how welcoming our community is. Explore the hallways that represent history, hear how our educators care deeply for each student, and see the beauty of our campus – the place students refer to as their second home.
Private tours are available during the school day by appointment, led by Director of Admissions, Susan Gasbarro, and prospective students have opportunities to “shadow” a current student, where students attend classes, meet teachers, and get a feel for what a “day in the life” of a Mount student entails.
Current “shadow days” are as follows:
- Tuesday, April 2, 2020
- Tuesday, April 9, 2020
- Thursday, April 25, 2020
We invite prospective students to arrive at Mount at 9:15 a.m., where they will be introduced to a current student who takes the prospective student to classes, “TC,” and wrap up the visit at 1:45 p.m. after having lunch with the “Mountie” as a host.
For more information or to book a “shadow day” or tour of Mount, contact Susan at 401-769-0310, ext. GasbarroS@mtstcharles.org.
“I think the people that graduated from here will be able to say, ‘I really did do what I wanted to do, and the foundation started at the academy.'” – Marc Staelen, Class of 1971 and parent of Mount student in Class of 2021
Each year, Mount is thrilled to host a day-long event inviting the public in to see the charm and history of our academy, and feel the energy, spirit, and love of our Brothers, faculty and staff members, and students that fills our hallways and classrooms.
Held each October, this event encourages prospective students and families to see Mount for themselves, ask questions about student life, academics, community service and internship opportunities, athletics, extracurricular activities, groups, and clubs, and how our dedicated faculty members set students up for success during their years at Mount and beyond. Tours are ongoing during the annual “Open House,” and families are welcome to join our Mount community during Mass the day of the event.
Directions and visitor parking
Visitor parking spots are located directly in front of our main entrance, located toward the back of our campus.
Visitor parking directions: Drive into our “main” parking lot, located at 800 Logee St., Woonsocket, R.I., and follow the arrows past the main parking lot down a small hill to the “turn-around” loop, which will be located on your left. A stairwell to our main entrance doors directly faces these visitor parking spots, which are marked with signage.
