Congratulations to Annelise Freund, Class of 2015!
Annelise was the second place winner in the Congressional Arts Caucus’ Annual High School Arts Competition sponsored by Senator Jack Reed. Each year public, private, and parochial high schools are invited to submit three works from three different students in their respective schools. The art works are judged by an impartial panel, and awards are given to first, second, and third prize winners.
The winning artwork will be on display in Jack Reed’s Washington DC office for one year; the second and third place winners are on display in his Cranston and Providence office. Annelise also submitted an art entry in the annual RI Duck Stamp project and her work placed third in that contest.
